Morning Manna Today
Psalm 59:16
New International Version (NIV)
But I will sing of your strength, 16 in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.
Times of Trouble
When I think about the LORD and His mercy sometimes I feel a deep sense within... A sense of joy and thankfulness but also sadness for the times I have hurt Him in the past by my thoughtless, Godless actions.
However, the LORD is my fortress. He defends me in the time of need and protects me from my enemy. Fear is not my portion because He has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power and of love, and of a sound mind.
My brother, my sister in the Faith be encouraged. Though the storms rage the Master is with you. Even if the sky itself fell the LORD IS WITH YOU.
So trust Him, God the Holy One who is able to keep you through all of life's turmoil, amen.
